Your Social Security number is the most valuable piece of information that an identity theft criminal can get.

The most "stolen" SSN of all time is 078-05-1120. In 1938, if you bought a new wallet, one of the items found in it was a fictitious Social Security card - simply a sample to show-off the wallet's storage compartments.
